Natalie | Age Four

Something I love about this blog is being able to look back on events and remember the little details or funny things Natalie has said and done (and soon things Everett will say and do!). Last year I started doing a birthday interview so that I would have a time capsule of sorts to remember Natalie at each age. I could not wait to do one this year to hear the things this kid comes up with :)

Oh my sweet, Natalie Grace.  You have more self-confidence in your pinky than most people have in their entire body.  I hope you keep that, always. You are more sure of your wardrobe choices, no matter how ridiculous, at four than I am at thirty-one. Don't ever change. You are kind and compassionate and you love your brother so fiercely.  I hope you always care for him and look out for him the way you do now. You are so driven and motivated to learn. I hope you are always so eager for knowledge. You always work so hard to be better and do better in swim class. I hope you continue to always strive to be the best while remembering that not everything is a competition. You make Daddy and me so proud. We love you to the moon and back, big girl. Happy 4th Birthday.
