baby #2 | 24 weeks

How Far Along24 weeks! Viability! Wahoo!

Size of the BabyBaby W is the size of a cantaloupe.

Symptoms/Sleep: Holy hormonal, emotional, weepy pregnant lady this week. I spilled a whole lot of emotion about three of my favorite people on the planet in Thursday's post and that was really only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to how much I adore them.

Sleep is still pretty ok.  I am still able to kind of sleep on my stomach though I can tell those days are numbered as it's becoming more side sleeping than full stomach. I am starting to experience some allergies for the first time in years which is making breathing while I sleep  a bit difficult but nothing a breathe right strip can't fix (at least that's what I am hoping!).

Bump/Belly Button/Weight Gain: The bump is still pretty small and cute for the most part. I am happy to report no weight gain this week, in fact, I am still under my pre-Natalie weight! This will probably be the last time I can say that for awhile haha

Cravings/Aversions: Y'all. My salad is back at Panera. The strawberry, poppy seed and chicken salad is back. It is everything. I am in heaven.

Big Sister: Every week that we get closer to little brother's arrival, the more things that I notice about her. I have been trying to be more present and soak in these last few months just the three of us. She really is such an amazing little girl. She felt baby brother kick the other day and it was hysterical. She was shocked and told me he needed to go in time-out because hands are for helping, not hitting. My mama heart melted. She does listen!

We spent last Sunday sitting on the deck with my parents watching Natalie play. I loved that they got to see how wild she is and how amazing her imagination is. She was non-stop playing outside for the entirety of our visit.

Miss Anything: Even though it was an incredibly emotionally draining visit for a number of reasons, I am missing my parents. The distance is hard and makes things complicated.

Best Moment: We booked our maternity and newborn photographer! I am so excited to use Liz Hough Photography this time around :) Her style is very comparable to the photographer we used for our maternity and newborn pictures for Natalie and she is MUCH closer to home which makes me really happy. I love the soft light and outdoor pictures at the golden hour. Liz has already been a dream to work with and I am really looking forward to working with her more!

Can't Wait For: Celebrating Ant and Chelsea this weekend!
