Thursday Thoughts | Currently...

How is it already June? For all intents and purposes, the year is half over which is absolutely insane to me. I haven't done a currently post in some time so here it is...

Daydreaming about | Lazy summer days with Nat, ice cream cones on the deck, outdoor girls' nights complete with margs and BBQs with friends. I am so happy the weather is warmer. Ahh sweet summertime and the living is definitely easy :)

Drinking | My daily Starbucks dirty chai. However, I have been so much better about drinking water. My team and I really push each other to drink more water which is one of the really nice things about being on a close knit team. I am also so excited that Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy is back. That is my favorite summer beer :)

Eating | All of the avocados. I am on a huge avocado binge lately. I am putting it in all of my salads and on all of my sandwiches and directly on my fork. I cannot get enough. The Stay at Home Chef had a recipe for Tuna Stuffed Avocados that has me all heart eyes.

Seriously. Don't these just LOOK amazing.

Listening to | Old CDs that I found last week. B and I cleaned out our basement and I found a box of old mix CDs from 2003-2008 and it has been some serious nostalgia during my commute to and from work. I have almost called my sister half a dozen times at 5:50 in the morning to laugh about a song but stopped when I realized she might kill me. I also found a bunch of power hour CDs from college in that collection which has been more fun than I like to admit :) Turns out, I'm still really good at them!

this little gem is from a girl's trip to OCMD

Looking forward to | Our play date this weekend :) Some of my work babes and I are getting our tiny terrors together. I have been incredibly fortunate to find some of my best friends in the people I work with. It has been so much fun to watch their little ones grow and celebrate milestones with them and it is always so much fun to get our kids together.

I am also really looking forward to celebrating my friend Meg at her baby shower in a few weeks. It's so crazy to think about how far we have come in the almost 10 years that we have been friends. From crazy nights at the Cell Block to now being mamas, it's a bit surreal.

Loving | All of the time we've gotten to spend outside in the last week. It has been so much fun picking flowers, splashing at the water table and chasing a barefoot little Natalie through the grass while listening to her belly laugh.

Planning | Our annual trip to Florida. Nat and I are officially booked for Florida in July and I am so excited to get down there and see my parents. It looks like my nephew may be down there at the same time which has potential to be doubly fun but doubly exhausting.

ALSO - I am super excited to be planning a Mama and Mini session with the ever so talented Monique Michael from M&M Photography! I love working with Monique and if you live in the MD/DC area, I highly recommend her!

Reading | Nothing but memes on Instagram and inspirational quotes on Pinterest. I am currently seeking a good summer read, so if you have one - PLEASE let me know!

Wearing | ugh. This past winter I had to buy new clothes because of the weight that I have lost. I pulled out my summer clothes now that the rain has stopped and the sun has come out and I am facing the same dilemma. Over the next few weeks I will be rebuilding a summer wardrobe which is fun and terrifying and frustrating and exciting all at the same time. However, I did buy a bikini the other week for the first time in almost 10 years and I feel like that is MAJOR progress! And while I am stepping out of my comfort zone, I am absolutely going to try to make rompers a thing for me. We'll see how that goes.

Watching | My [new] favorite guilty pleasure: the Bachelorette. I fell in love with the Bachelor earlier this year and I had no idea what I was missing.

Wishing | Time would slow down a little bit. I feel like I blink and Natalie is bigger and smarter and growing up too dang quickly.

I mean seriously. Excuse me while I cry in the corner...
