The day has come. One I thought was never going to come. The day I say goodbye to one of my favorite places in the world: the Grove. Weird to be saying that about my work place, right? But, if you work at (or have ever worked at) the Grove, then you would understand.
This place was more than just a job or a paycheck. It is where I spent the last five years of my life becoming a real life adult. It's where I learned so much about myself. It's where I got to see some of my absolute favorite people on an almost daily basis. It's where my family began. I literally thought I would work here until I died or hit the lottery and got to stay home to raise babies. I mean, these people celebrated my wedding with me, my first home purchase, my first child and my forever home purchase; they are family. I know it's super sappy, but I really did meet some of my best friends here (and so did Natalie).
These are the people I am raising babies with and growing old with - my village, so to speak. They have held my hand through some of the scariest moments of my life. We have grieved losses and celebrated births together. We have laughed so hard we cried and in some cases, peed a little (thanks pregnancy). They were the first people who knew I was pregnant and some of the first people to congratulate me on the birth of my daughter. I have learned so much from them about life, love and happiness. I cherish these incredible women so much and am so lucky to have them in my life.
I was blessed to be on, in my opinion, the best team in the practice: the Levy team. I have learned so much both personally and professionally from Dr. Levy. I don't think I could ever truly thank him for everything he has done, not just for me, but for my family. He took a chance on me professionally, helped me pick the flavor of my wedding cake, danced with me at said wedding, encouraged my professional growth, placated me when I was a total hormonal nut job, helped me build my family and supported me every step of the way. He is one of the most passionate, driven, compassionate and generous people I have ever met. I am so lucky that he is part of not only my life, but Natalie's too.
