Woot woot! This was a absurdly long week so I am absolutely thrilled it is finally Friday!
1. 18 Months! We are halfway through year two! How is that possible?! I cannot believe that my little angel baby is growing up so fast! This was the best picture she let me take of her all week. I feel like it's the only time she stood still all week!
2. The results are in... I am NOT a carrier of the BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene :) While I know that this does not mean that I 100% won't get cancer of some kind, it's nice to know that I have 11 years before starting annual mammograms instead of one year! I was super nervous about doing the testing but I am so happy I did it.
3. Friday starbucks s'mores frap WITH the cookie straw! Woot woot!
Natalie's happiness moment for the week: Donut Date Friday with Daddy :) I absolutely love getting these pictures from Brandon in the morning. She is a total Daddy's girl!
4. Wednesday's little accident. This one seems a bit crazy but hear me out. Wednesday afternoon after I picked Natalie up from daycare, my car was hit by a flatbed trailer being towed by a truck. The guy was turning right into a parking lot and the back corner of the trailer hit the front of my car. It only left a little scratch on my car but I had the baby in the car. It was the first time something like this had happened to me while Natalie was in the car. No one was hurt. It wasn't a big deal. And I think it wasn't a big deal to me because Natalie was ok. My poor car has been in so many accidents (none of them my fault, I might add) and they have all made me so angry but this time I just wasn't upset. Having Natalie in the car put this one into perspective. Accidents happen and, at the end of the day, if my baby is safe and happy and healthy that is all that matters to me.
My parents are coming into town on Sunday and I am excited to see them! It will be the first time we have seen them since Natalie's 1st birthday. They are camping in our driveway from Sunday-Tuesday and while I still have to go to work and won't get to spend as much time with them as I would want, it will be nice to get to spend any time at all with them. It's hard having my parents 12+ hours away so this will be a nice treat :)
Happy Friday, y'all!
