A few months ago I was asked to test out a new baby product, the Squeasy snacker, by Squeasy Gear. I was a little hesitant to have Natalie try this when we first got it for fear of a mess and I wasn't sure how well she would be able to handle it. I am seriously kicking myself now for not trying this sooner. She is a smart girl and would have had zero problem navigating this thing.
We are big fans of the Gerber/Earth's Best food pouches for the convenience factor. It's easy to screw the spoon on and have a snack for Natalie on the go. This is quite similar to that from the pouch standpoint, but so much easier and it's reusable. When I finally got the opportunity to test this thing out, I wanted to do it during snack time at home - just in case things did not go as I would hope and I would have easy access to a back-up plan. I opted to go with a tried and true favorite of Natalie's - apple sauce. I simply put the apple sauce in, screwed on the lid and gave it to Natalie.
I like to buy in bulk so it will be nice to be able to buy a big tub of yogurt or a big jar of applesauce instead of buying single serving containers for Natalie. Just take some yogurt, add in some pureed fresh fruits and use the squeasy snacker. Not to mention, Brandon loves fruit smoothies so I am sure he and Natalie will be enjoying more of those in the near future thanks to how easy the snacker is to use. I am really excited about the possibilities that have opened up for on the go snacking for the little miss!
