Celebrating Mama B

If you have followed my blog for any amount of time, then you have read about my Levy team teammate/friend/SG nurse/co-worker, Jordan.  Shortly after I delivered Natalie, we found that Jordan was pregnant.  I could not have been more excited.  I think it's part of the reason that I coped so well with my own pregnancy ending.  I got to start the journey all over again without having to do ANY of the work.  It was even more exciting for me when we found out that Jordan was having a BOY!  I was thrilled.  My work bestie was having the boy I never knew I really wanted until I found out I was having a girl!

This past weekend, we celebrated the mommy-to-be and showered her with love, attention and, most importantly, gifts for her coming attraction.  Her friend, Rachel, threw a beautiful shower for her using the turtle theme from baby Z's nursery.  Our team from work got together and got Jordan's shower cake and I am absolutely in love with how it turned out.  Piece O Cake Bakery in Frederick did an incredible job.  It fit the theme perfectly and Jordan was quite surprised and happy with it :)  Baby Z now has plenty of clothes, soft blankets, toys and bath wash.  It was a beautiful day for a beautiful person.

love how the cake turned out :)
Just a few shorts more weeks [10] until little Zachary arrives and I am anxiously counting down the days. [73 to be exact.]  Sometimes I think I might be more excited than Jordan! :)
