How far along: 20 weeks, 1 day
Baby is the size of: a banana... or a dollar bill and she weighs as much as 50 quarters. Fun fact for you - if the baby were a block of gold, she would be worth around $17,000.
Total weight gain/loss: Not quite sure, but I have an appointment on Monday and I am sure they will tell me then! However, I have been told quite a bit lately that I am all baby which is making me feel really good :)
Symptoms: Crazy hormones. This afternoon driving home from work I had a crazy case of the giggles (which Brandon and I think is probably due in large part to my not-so-decaf mint chocolate chip coffee from DD - and no I did not start drinking decaf because of the pregnancy. If you know me, you know I cannot handle caffeine without acting like a small child). That crazy case of the giggles led into the ugly cry and I could not control it. Talk about a terrifying out of body experience... poor Brandon. However, the man handled it like a champ.... shocker, right? :)
Food Cravings: BREAKFAST! I am a huge fan of breakfast and for the past week I have been very spoiled with homemade breakfast sandwiches every morning. Talk about marrying the perfect man :)
What I miss: nothing this week. I am pretty happy being pregnant.
What I am looking forward to: seeing my parents in a couple of weeks and doing some serious baby shopping over the next month or so :)
Gender Predictions: In case you missed it last week, Baby Dub is a GIRL!
Maternity Clothes: I am wearing a good mix of both which makes me feel good. I get the happy feeling of being pregnant, mixed with that happy feeling of still being able to wear my pre-pregnancy clothes which is really nice and definitely helps with my ego... what? I am just being honest.
Wedding Rings: halfway done and still comfortably wearing the bling... gotta love it :)
Movement: this week I have been feeling quite a bit of her. Brandon got to feel her on Monday on the way to work and it made me a blubbering fool... for the rest of the morning.
Best Moment of Last Week: There have been quite a few! I celebrated three years with SGFC which is unreal and Dr. Levy wrote me a really nice email which has put me on cloud nine all week. We had Brandon's Huggies & Chuggies party on Saturday which was awesome. We have enough diapers for the first 4 months of the little girl's life :) Feeling her move around on Sunday/Monday was surreal and I loved it. And then last night Brandon and I ordered some clothes from Carters because they were having a CRAZY awesome sale - seriously $3.99 for some awesome shorts for next summer. Can't beat that :) All in all, the last week was pretty awesome and I am really looking forward to seeing what the next 20 weeks has in store for us! (you know, besides the obvious small human coming into the world thing...)
