How far along: 19 weeks, 4 days
Baby is the size of: a mango [today she weighed in a 10 ounces!]
Total weight gain/loss: Not sure, but given the bump that I have got going, I think it's safe to say that I am starting to put weight on.
Symptoms: Woof. Serious back pain when I wake up in the morning. I cannot find a good position to sleep in. And at the end of the day, I am starting to have a little swelling in my feet. It's so cute... not.
Food Cravings: I have been on a big McDonald's breakfast binge... an egg mcmuffin and a hashbrown. yum... which I need to stop because of the really adorable aforementioned swelling.
What I miss: waking up not feeling like a 900 year old woman... and sleeping through the night without having to pee. If this is what getting old is like, please for the love of all things holy - take me out before this happens.
What I am looking forward to: Brandon's Huggies & Chuggies man baby shower this weekend :)
Gender Predictions: It's a GIRL :) I am finally coming around to the idea. When we first found out I was absolutely devastated. I always said as long as it's healthy and that I didn't care... what a crock of shit that was. But after several walks around Target's small human section, the idea of a girl is really starting to grow on me. Brandon was totally okay with having a girl - he called it from the minute we got pregnant. I guess sometimes a father's intuition is stronger than a mother's :)
Maternity Clothes: A couple times this week, including today, I did not wear a single maternity item so I am still in a good mix of both pre-pregnancy and maternity clothes. I will say this though, after wearing those maternity shorts last weekend, I CANNOT wait to buy maternity pants. I am so going to be rocking those long after small human comes into the world.
Wedding Rings: very much on :) almost halfway done and still comfortably wearing the bling... gotta love it :)
Movement: still cannot confirm for sure just yet. I have felt something, but I don't know if that is in my head or if that's the baby or what.
Best Moment of Last Week: Going baby shopping with my mother-in-law was kind of awesome :) However, it totally sparked a monster in me. I think all this time I spent telling her not to go crazy shopping was also a warning to myself. It's all going to go down hill from here!
