Please forgive me...

I am the worst. I openly admit that.  I had every intention of being such a good blogger this year (I made a resolution about it and everything) and I had hoped to really be on top of this and to really let people know what is going on with the Wilkinsons, but I failed miserably.  As fabulous Fall starts to really settle in and things finally start to slow down (do they ever really slow down?!), I am hoping that I can be better about blogging and really keeping people up to date on the goings on of my life.

So let's recap 2012 from where I left off...

Friday, February 17th - we closed on the townhouse :) We are OFFICIALLY homeowners!  Over the next week after closing we painted walls, moved boxes, replaced carpets, unpacked boxes and settled into our new home.  The dogs love their backyard and Brandon and I are quite happy with the way things have turned out.

Sunday, March 18th -Michelle's Bridal Shower took place at the Wilkinson home :) We were all settled with everything unpacked within a month of moving in and I was able to host the bridal shower of my favorite sister.  I am told that is impressive.  We also had our first of many weekend visitors in March with my lovely mother staying with us for four glorious days :)

Saturday, April 14th - Michelle and TJ's Wedding.  The bride was gorgeous, the weather was perfect and my toast - nailed it.  But be serious - did anyone really think I wouldn't give the best toast ever?

May - I hosted a bachelorette party for my friend, Alexis, who made a beautiful bride in July and we had more weekend visitors to the Wilkinson home.

June - I had Alexis' Bridal Shower to attend, Brandon and I went to the baby shower of one of our favorite people, Jessica P-M, and Weddings by Wilkinson had it's first non-family/friend wedding which was, I would like to think, a huge success.

July - We celebrated my mother-in-law's birthday on the 3rd, my father's birthday on the 19th and a week and change later we celebrated Pop's 80th birthday with a family party down the shore.

August - I worked a lot, Caitlin and I went to the beach for a weekend (the only time I saw the ocean the entire summer) and my parents came into town for the annual Knights of Columbus crab feast.  Also, most importantly, QUINN made his grand entrance into the world on Wednesday, August 8th at 9:50pm weighing in at 7lbs 7ozs and 21inches long.  I couldn't be more proud of Jessica, Brian and, of course, my little peanut.

September - Again, I worked a lot.  That was the month of my 12 days straight at work, including picking up the Labor Day holiday.  Brandon and I celebrated one year of marriage :), we saw the Pistol Annie's at the Frederick Fair and Michelle celebrated being one year closer to 30.

So far this year, we have also seen huge growth at work - we opened two offices in Pennsylvania and we hired an additional four physicians (Dr. Bromer, Dr. Sasson, Dr. Doyle and Dr. Moon).  I am very excited to announce that I will get to work quite closely with one of the new physicians and I am over the moon about it.  I will still be with the Levy team.  MJL can't get rid of me that fast.

We also had quite a few engagements this summer: Greg and Terra, Mayne and Laura, Brittany and Shane, Kenny and Emily and Derek and Nicole.  And come December there will be a new member to the Gordon clan - Brittany and Shane will welcome little Isabella Kylee.

Phew!  And the fun doesn't stop there. This weekend Team Kyle participates in the Light the Night walk for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for the second time and I am so excited to see everyone.  After that, I am hoping that life can slow down a little bit!

And oh yea - Happy Anniversary to Jessica and Brian! Two years later and you still want to be friends... love you both to pieces.
